Earth Hour 2010

Let’s talk about some history of the Earth Hour. This environment caring program was organised by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). Normally, this activity will be carry out on the last Saturday of March in every year.

The Earth Hour 2010 fall on the 27th March 2010. This meaningful activity will be held from 8.30pm to 9.30 pm. So if you still consider yourself as one of the human on this Earth, please do your part for the Earth. This year, WWF is targeting to get the involvement of 6000 cities, 10 million individuals,non government organisations, governmental organisation and private sectors.

Earth Hour can be considered as the largest environmental activity carried out in the world. Last year, 88 countries and 4013 cities have taken part in this activity.

Until now, 115 countries and cities have promised to take part in this year’s Earth Hour which will be carry out in this Saturday night from 8.30pm to 9.30pm. For example, several cities in China already sounded their support for this activity.

So, one of the world most competitive countries also promised to take part, then what about you? If you don’t take part in this move by the WWF, you will be feeling sorry for the Earth.

You just have to sacrifice your one hour time but you can make a significant changes for the Earth.Please remember to take part tomorrow and if you do this, you will be a great man. Do tell and persuade your friends and family members to take part too because they are part of our Earth too.
